About Strength & Hypertrophy Workshops
The Strength & Hypertrophy workshop helps coaches understand the importance and inclusion of strength and hypertrophy in strength and conditioning programming and training systems.
Coaches will look closely at the correlation between strength and power and the most effective training zones to develop power. Velocity Based Training will be another topic of discussion, looking primarily at Load Velocity Profiles (LVP) and Minimum Velocity Threshold (MVT).
Coaches start to look at the most effective methods of developing hypertrophy in conjunction with strength training and how they can apply different methods to different systems of strength and power training.
Finally, coaches will be tasked with programming and how to implement all of the above modalities of training into an effective training program.
The practical session will identify Energy System Development for increased work capacity and a step-by-step guide to developing a more robust and powerful athlete.
